May 15, 2014 - Comprising versions that comply with industrial (EN60950) or rail (EN50155) standards, PRP-260 Series provides up to 260 W of power from 3.9 x 8.7 x 1.5 in. chassis-mount package. Input voltages of 12, 24, 48, 72, and 110 Vdc are inverted to adjustable 120 or 230 Vac outputs regulated to 4% or better. Output frequency can be set to 50 or 60 Hz, and input and output are galvanically isolated. Operating from -25 to +55°C at full load, pure sine wave inverters deliver up to 90% efficiency.

Hopkinton, MA – Schaefer Inc., is proud to unveil the PRP-260 Series of highly efficient, pure sine wave inverters that provide up to 260W of power in a compact chassis-mount package. The PRP-260 Series has versions that comply with industrial (EN60950) or rail (EN50155) standards.

Input voltages of 12, 24, 48, 72, and 110VDC are inverted to adjustable 120VAC or 230VAC outputs that are regulated to 4% or better. Output frequency can be set to 50Hz or 60Hz, and input and output are galvanically isolated. Standard features include overload protection, output failure alarm, remote inhibit and high efficiency up to 90%. A wide operating temperature of –25C to +55C at full load allows for installations in extreme conditions and complies with EN50155 Class 3.

Emissions to EN61000-6-3 and EN60121-3-2 meets both industrial and rail standards and minimizes interference to other sensitive equipment. The compact size of the PRP-260 Series measures 3.9” x 8.7” x 1.5” (100 x 220 x 40mm) making them ideal for space critical solutions. In addition to chassis mounting, an optional 19” rack-mount or DIN-Rail clip are available.

In addition, Schaefer can design and manufacture fully custom solutions. PRP-260 Series pricing starts under $721 each at 50 pieces with additional OEM quantity discounts.
