L-Com Introduces Shorter Cable Length Options for Its CHD and CRMN D-Sub Cable Lines
NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- L-com, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that they have added one foot cable length options to their CHD Deluxe High Density D-Sub cables and CRMN Deluxe Panel Mount D-Sub cable lines. This will give customers the option of a more streamlined fit to achieve D-Sub connections in tight or confined space applications, at a reduced cost.
L-com's CHD family of hard-to-find high-density (HD) D-Sub cable assemblies offers solid performance at economical prices. These HD cable assemblies are fully shielded throughout the entire cable to prevent data corrupting EMI/RFI. Metal thumbscrews ensure fast and easy connections and custom lengths and pinouts are available with modest minimum requirements. One foot options have been added to the following product families: CHD15MF, CHD15MM, CHD26MF, CHD26MM, CHD44MF, CHD44MM, CHD62MF, CHD62MM, CHD78MF and CHD78MM.
L-com's CRMN D-Sub cable assemblies were the industry's first to feature connectors with threaded inserts. These allow either metal thumbscrews or female hex standoffs to be threaded securely to each connector. They are also fully shielded with molded backshells and 26 AWG conductors. One foot cable lengths have been added to the DB9, DB15, DB25, and DB37 sizes in male to male, male to female and female to female configurations.
