Wapakoneta, Ohio . . . . OTM recently unveiled new Aluminum Cutting Inserts in WCGT 05 and WCGT 06 sizes. The new aluminum cutting inserts mount into existing OTM HOLESHOTâ„¢ and HOLESHOTâ„¢-IS (Integral Shank) drills.
OTM's Aluminum Cutting Inserts, available in grade 12, feature the highly polished surface and up-sharp geometry necessary for effective drilling in aluminum. The polished surface significantly reduces the coefficient of friction for improved drilling in soft, gummy material such as aluminum. These features also allow for drilling at elevated speeds and feeds for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
In stock and available for immediate delivery, the new OTM Aluminum Cutting Inserts are designed specifically for HOLESHOTâ„¢ and HOLESHOTâ„¢-IS drills, which offer efficient drilling in diameters ranging from 7/8" to 4".
