ACS Develops Cut To Length Machine For Wire Overbraided Teflon Hose
New Haven, IN May 7, 2002 Automated Control Systems of New Haven, IN has developed a Cut to Length Machine for use with Teflon hose overbraided with stainless steel wire. The machine includes a payoff, cutting system, feeder bowl and assembly system. The finished product assembly consists of a section of hose inserted through two hose fittings oriented for downstream processes.
The Cut to Length Machine produces up to 6 assemblies per minute, depending on hose length. The machine is equipped with a PLC and operator interface, from which the operator can control process speed, batch size, and the length of each section of hose.
Options available with this machine include speed upgrades, varying hose diameters, varying hose materials, part sorting systems, conveying systems, packaging systems, and coilers.
