Manufactured to specification from specialty plastics for use in hostile environments, Slideways Custom Profiles include chain and belt guides as well as related components. Typical wear-resistant materials include oil-filled UHMW, UHMW-HT for 275°F service, glass-filled PTFE for -350 to +500°F applications, oil-filled or MD-Nylon, and Eratalyte® TX for resistance to bleach and other harsh chemicals. Sizes range from 1.25-12 in. wide and up to 20 ft long, with tolerances to ±0.005 in.

Custom Plastic Profiles Resist Heat, Chemicals and Bleach
Custom profiles, chain and belt guides, and related components that can be manufactured to specification from specialty plastics for use in hostile environments are available from Slideways, Inc. of Worcester, Massachusetts.
Slideways Custom Profiles are fabricated to specification in small runs to eliminate the need for extrusion tooling and long lead times. Typical wear-resistant materials include oil-filled UHMW, UHMW-HT for 275°F service, glass-filled PTFE for -350°F to 500°F applications, oil-filled or MD-Nylon, and Eratalyte® TX for resistance to bleach and other harsh chemicals.
Suitable for a wide range of processing, packaging, and conveying applica-tions, Slideways Custom Profiles are offered in sizes from 1.25" to 12" W up to 20' long, with tolerances to ±0.005"; depending upon configuration. Specializing in FDA/USDA-compliant wear parts, industries served include food-, poultry-, meat-, chemical-, and pharmaceutical processing.
