Custom Assembly Equipment Produces Finished Electrical/Electronic Parts


A wide range of custom built equipment that combines multiple assembly functions and produces very specific finished electrical and electronic parts is available from ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.

ETCO Custom Assembly Equipment can produce finished electrical and elec-tronic parts by combining multiple functions such as bending, brazing, welding, crimping, cutting, inserting, and attaching components. Capable of throughput up to 3,000 parts-per-hour, this fully programmable equipment can introduce stamped metal lead frames from a reel, press-fit them onto ceramic insulators, and attach and terminate wire leads.

Designed to reduce labor and efficiently produce a finished part that has one SKU number, ETCO Custom Assembly Equipment can accommodate stampings ranging from 0.008" to 0.90" thick and multiple components made from ceramics and other materials. Providing application engineering assistance, the firm utilizes rapid proto-typing with 3-D solid modeling analysis.
