Meeting demands of architects and building owners, LightBasic(TM) translucent daylighting system features simplified framing system and minimal system options. Integrated 100% acrylic-based face sheet, AcrylitGC®, offers glare-free light while resisting weathering and fiberbloom. Available with 2¾ in. thick panels that measure up to 5 ft x 20 ft, system is offered in classic grid layouts - In-line Shoji, Staggered Shoji, and Tuckerman patterns - in 6 x 6 in. to 12 x 24 in. sizes.

Officially released at the 2010 American Institute of Architects National Convention and Expo in Miami Beach, LightBasic(TM) translucent wall systems feature a simplified framing system and fewer system options when compared to our standard Guardian 275® translucent panel systems. LightBasic(TM) systems also feature 100% acrylic-based AcrylitGC®. Produced by Glasteel®, AcrylitGC® is an economical face sheet that offers glare-free light while resisting weathering and fiberbloom. This combination of simplified options and an acrylic face sheet allows us to keep costs down while still providing a dependable, reliable translucent curtainwall system that is easy on the bottom line.
