New Split Core Transducers Introduced by CR Magnetics, Inc.

CR Magnetics, Inc. has introduced a new series of current transducers with split core current sensors specifically designed for easy installation into new and existing systems.

The new CR Magnetics Split Core Transducers are available in five different model styles: #CR4100S - True RMS, #CR4200S - Loop powered, #CR4210S - Self powered, #CR4400S - Average RMS, and #CR5200S - DC current. These models are available with 0-5 Vdc or 4-20m Adc output options.

Major benefits of the new Split Core Transducers allow easy assembly and greater manufacturing versatility in OEM equipment than solid core transducer designs. The new transducers are also perfect for retrofit applications as they can be installed without causing any equipment down time.

The key feature of the new CR Magnetics Split Core Transducers is the easy to use latch which secures the split core armature. They can also be mounted on 35 mm DIN rails or surface/panels.

The window openings of the new CR Magnetics CR4XXXS Series of Split Core Transducers will accommodate current carrying wires up to 1.21" dia. They operate in the temperature range of 0 - 60 degrees C and the accuracy is +/-1.0% Full Scale. Insulation voltage is 2500 Vdc and response time is 250ms 0-90% FS. They are powered by a single 24 Vdc power supply.

The common package size is 3.26" long x 1.42" wide x 2.99" high. And they are ... In Stock And Available For Immediate Shipment!

Upon introducing the new CR Magnetics Split Core Transducers, David P. Forsythe, General Manager of CR Magnetics, Inc., stated: "We are very excited about this new series of split core transducers. The new Split Core Transducers will perform in a wide variety of applications including phase fired control heaters, quickly varying motor leads, chopped wave form drivers, harmonic currents, and monitoring of motor faults, heater and lighting elements. We are counting on the use of our web site crmagnetics.com to help the design engineers and plant maintenance engineers with quick access to extensive technical information and specific application data."
