January 18, 2012 - Supplied in ceramic housing, 2 W LCBF2 is flameproof, wirewound resistor. CBF and LCBF2 resistors also provide housings with standoffs to help reduce temperatures seen by PCB. Welded wirewound resistive element is available in values from 0.05-0.33 ohms in 5% tolerance, and products are suited for current sensing applications such as switching power supplies, protection for TVs, displays, and monitors; displays for white goods; and motor controls.

Stackpole Adds 2 Watt Size to Their LCB Series Ceramic Housed Current Sensing Wirewound Resistors


RALEIGH, NC - Stackpole has added a 2 watt size to their LCB Series of flameproof low resistance value ceramic housed wirewound resistors. The LCBF2 adds to the broad line of current sensing resistors from Stackpole. The CBF and LCBF2 resistors also provide housings with standoffs to help reduce the temperatures seen by the PCB. The welded wirewound resistive element is available in values from 0.05 ohms to 0.33 ohms in 5% tolerance.

The LCB Series is a popular choice for a wide range of current sensing applications such as switching power supplies, protection for TV's, displays, and monitors, displays for white goods, and motor controls.
