Fujitsu Introduces G610 and G611 Currency Recyclers for Automated Cash Distribution

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif., -- Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc., a leading supplier of innovative computer products including peripherals and biometric security solutions, today introduced the G610 and G611 large-capacity multi-cassette currency recyclers/acceptors, the newest solutions in the Fujitsu portfolio of currency handling equipment. Capable of handing up to 8,000 (G610) or 16,000 (G611) new notes, the new currency recyclers help retailers, financial services institutions and other businesses reduce labor costs and human error by automating the currency distribution process. The G610 and G611 offer the same superior reliability, unmatched security and low maintenance requirements as legacy Fujitsu currency dispenser equipment. The Fujitsu G610 will be on display during KioskCom (April 14-15, 2010 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas) at the ArcaTech Systems booth (#609).

The G610 and G611 are high-capacity, secure cassette-based systems with advanced banknote validation supporting exceptional first pass acceptance rates. The new solutions offer a flexible front or rear service configuration that can be easily built into through-the-wall applications. The deposit and recycle cassettes can be configured in any combination from one to four cassettes to meet customer specifications, and the Fujitsu G610 and G611 are available with a Fujitsu-developed WOSA compliant software service provider to help customers quickly and cost-effectively develop and activate user interface software. All Fujitsu currency handling equipment and offers reduced service and repair costs, as local and remote ready diagnostics quickly isolate -- and often resolve -- any operational issues.

In addition to the G610, a prototype of the new Fujitsu Bill Acceptor Unit (BAU) will also be in display at the ArcaTech Systems booth during KisokCom 2010. Capable of handling 4,000 notes at a rate of seven notes-per-second, this bulk note acceptor quickly counts and sorts currency, placing it into a secure removable cassette. It has a compact design and is reasonably priced to support bank notes in many countries. The flexibility also makes the BAU ideal for gaming industry where fast and large-volume currency handling is required.
