Telemotive Announces The New TelePilot

Telemotive Industrial Controls today announced their newest product the telePilot crane control system. The technologically advanced telePilot system uses a Palm Pilot® to program the transmitter's synthesized frequency and on-board flash memory configuration via an infrared signal. In addition, one telePilot transmitter can be programmed to independently operate up to four different receivers.

"We've merged metal and space-age plastics with the latest in technology to create the most durable, reliable and flexible product available," says Bob Beckmann, Vice President of Engineering.

"Our approach to designing the new telePilot was to first really listen to the needs of our customers, and then build the most durable product in the market. We've created the most functional and operator friendly product in the market today," says T.D. Decker, President and CEO of Telemotive.

The lightweight transmitter has been ergonomically designed for easy operation while still being extremely tough, watertight, and submersible. It features up to five motions and two speed operations and is compatible with our other Telemotive systems. The gold contact metal switches have a rated life of over a million operations. Also, the use of sub volt technology provides a much longer operating life with just two AA batteries.

The telePilot receiver is fully featured, synthesized, very compact and comes pre-wired for a transfer switch. As with other Telemotive systems, it is programmed for special crane configurations and has a "Visible" controller for ease of system monitoring.

"Telemotive is proud to introduce the telePilot to the industry. We have created something that will change the way the industry designs transmitters in the future," says T.D. Decker.
