Small and insensitive to operating wavelengths, products are suitable for use in instrumentation, OCT imaging systems, and CATV distribution. By selecting proper fiber type, devices can be optimized to work from visible range up to L band.

Gould's Fused SM and PM WideBand & UltraBand Fiber Optic Couplers & optical signal splitters are ideal in supporting the unique builds of the expanding global OCT interferometric systems, utilizing wavelengths from UV up to the eye safe range with highest path-matching accuracy for an excellent system performance. These components are small and insensitive to operating wavelengths, suitable for use in instrumentation, OCT systems, and CATV distribution. Their broad bandwidth makes them an excellent choice for OCT systems. By selecting the proper fiber type, these devices can be optimized to work from visible range all the way up to the L band. These couples are offered in a variety of coupling ratios. The WideBand and UltraBand couplers are manufactured using Gould’s proven Fused Biconically Tapered (FBT) process and patented packaging platforms.
