Raymond Introduces Latest Counterbalanced Lift Truck Models

Updated: June 11th, 2007 06:12 PM EDT

Greene, NY: Raymond Corp. has unveiled its Model 4100 and Model 4200 stand-up counterbalanced lift trucks. The Model 4200 is designed for warehouse systems and other high-productivity applications, with load capacities from 3,000 to 5,000 pounds. The 4100, designed for dock applications, features a load capacity of 3,000 to 3,500 pounds.

"The three-wheel stand-up design on the 4100 and 4200 trucks provides a smaller turning radius for greater maneuverability and easier handling in tight spaces," says Jeff Leggett, director for counterbalanced truck products at Raymond. "These trucks can perform right-angle stacking maneuvers in less total area, so a warehouse can switch to narrower aisles and increase storage space by as much as 10 percent."

Also available on both counterbalanced trucks are quick-disconnect couplings for attachments, making it easier to change from forks to attachments such as drum clamps or slipsheets. When switching attachments, the anti-drip, no-leak valves eliminate messy hydraulic fluid spills.

The single-axis multifunction control handle includes Raymond's four-way switch for sideshifting the forks and tilting the mast. The switch, along with featherable attachment control buttons, allows the operator to fine-tune the movement of all hydraulic functions.

The 4100 and 4200 trucks also include Raymond's ACR System, which delivers more uptime, more runtime per battery charge and lower maintenance costs compared with DC motors.
