Diversified Brands Introduces Krylon® Industrial Iron Guard™ Direct-To-Metal Acrylic Enamel 110 Series
(Cleveland, Ohio) –Diversified Brands announces a breakthrough acrylic technology in the new Iron Guard™ DTM Acrylic Enamel. Iron Guard is a high gloss, waterborne, 100% acrylic, corrosion-resistant coating from Krylon® Industrial. Iron Guard enables a direct-to-metal application on new or clean metal without the need for a primer.
Iron Guard is a low VOC, low odor, 100% compliant product based on current regulations. It lowers overall emissions by eliminating the need for primers, thinners and clean-up solvent.
Iron Guard is available in one and five-gallon cans, 13 package colors, three tinting bases and two primers.
Iron Guard offers superior rust protection as a DTM waterborne acrylic product, with new gloss retention technology that supersedes historical expectations. Additional features include exceptional resistance to early moisture, chemicals, flash rust/early rust, and corrosion, as well as fast drying and outstanding adhesion properties.
Designed for new construction or maintenance use over prepared substrates in industrial environments, applications include ornamental iron, tanks and cylinders, steel fabricated parts, equipment, machinery, metal buildings, select marine structures, piping, hand rails and many other industrial surfaces requiring painting.
