Corrosion-Proof Bearings Withstand Rigors of Washdown Environments

Kilian Manufacturing, Syracuse, NY, has developed a line of ball bearing housed units for the tough washdown conditions in food processing and packaging operations. No-Rust housed units combine corrosion-proof 303 stainless steel components for extended life. An advanced thermoplastic housing and special stainless steel bearing insert form a complete value package that stands up to a wide range of common corrosives and contaminants.

The housed units also resist steam and continuous temperatures up to 250° F.

Specifically designed for moderate loads and speeds in food processing and packaging, the Kilian units feature excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, detergents, oils and other chemicals. The No-Rust solid base housings prevent any collection of bacteria. The wide inner-ring design provides excellent shaft support and setscrew locking.
