Videoscope cooling sleeve allows borescope inspectors to insert a videoscope into sleeve for remote visual inspection of high temperature applications. It keeps scope cool by surrounding it in vortex of compressed air, allowing users to inspect steam lines and turbines. Shop air is connected, which maintains appropriate temperature for videoscope to operate. Constructed of high temperature polyurethane, sleeve works with 3.0 m long videoscope.

New Borescope Cooling Sleeve Allows Remote Inspection of Application up to 500° F
Advanced Inspection Technologies Inc. today announced the offering of a new flexible Borescope cooling sleeve. The new videoscope cooling sleeve allows borescope inspectors to insert a videoscope into the sleeve for remote visual inspection of high temperature applications. The new borescope cooling sleeve allows for inspection of areas with temperatures as high as 500° F.
We wanted to provide users with a method of inspecting areas that were previously impossible to inspect due to the limitations of conventional borescopes and videoscopes. The new videoscope cooling sleeve keeps the scope cool by surrounding the videoscope in a vortex of compressed air. This will allow industrial customers to inspect steam lines and turbines without waiting for the typical cool down time. Previously customers were required to wait several days until temperatures dropped enough to insert a conventional videoscope. The new videoscope cooling sleeve greatly reduces down time and can help shorten planned and unplanned outages.
The Borescope cooling sleeve works with a 3.0 meter long videoscope. Both 6.0mm and 8.0mm videoscopes can be used. The flexible sleeve is constructed of high temperature polyurethane. Shop air is connected which maintains the appropriate temperature for the videoscope to operate properly.
