Shuttleworth Introduces Smartfeed™ Conveyors; Increase Automated Productivity and Versatility to Wrapper Lines
Huntington, Indiana - Shuttleworth, Inc. introduces a line of SmartFeed™ conveyors that interface all wrappers. Six different designs meet the specific belt or lug fed requirements of these machines - standard SmartFeed™ models work with automatic "L" sealers, horizontal form fill and seal flow wrappers and overwrappers. They are easily adjusted and allow for production versatility. The conveyors can be incorporated into new machinery applications (controlled from the wrapper) or existing packaging lines can be updated using the Shuttleworth free-standing controls. Product feeding would be automatic in either a new or existing line; therefore, decreasing labor cost. Key features to all SmartFeed™ conveyors include: aluminum frames (optional stainless steel available), full function and self-contained wiring, heavy-duty floor mounted base and low back pressure accumulation that employs our Slip-Torque® technology.

• The SmartFeed™ Lug Multipacker...positive product placement into wrap lug, single or multi-count product discharge, adjustable overhead product break and variable speed controls;

• The SmartFeed™... base model design, adjustable product spacing/low back pressure accumulation;
• The SmartFeed™ Multipacker...suitable to belt fed wrappers from automatic "L" sealers to form and fill machinery, includes additional adjustable product guides and overhead break for rapid product count changes;
• The Servo-SmartFeed™ Lug & The Servo-SmartFeed™ Belt...Servo Product Control is offered on two new systems one for lug feed & one for belt feed wrappers.
