SmartMove Conveyors Introduces Multi-Lane Accumulating Conveyor

Fall River, MA., (August 21, 2008). An innovative conveyor system that features independently driven lanes in one universally modular frame is being introduced by SmartMoveŽ Conveyors. This new design which they call a "Multi-Lane Conveyor" is a unique approach to solving material handling problems that require smooth seamless transferring and accumulating of products.

Simplified design combines the function of two independent drives within the same framework to use less space and reduce system and installation costs. These new Multi-Lane conveyors are fully compatible with existing SmartMove's Shortline and Long Line systems and accessories.

The combination of bidirectional drive and seamless transferring on the Multi-lane conveyors can provide simple rotary and carousel accumulation/delivery systems. Similar bidirectional applications are ideal for delivery and takeaway systems that are common with tote and tray assembly lines. You further increase your productivity of Multi-Lane Conveyors by using them in Multi-level configurations.

These systems are priced according to belt width and overall length. SmartMove Multi-Lane Conveyors are available in any combination of Smartmove belting that totals less than 30" wide. (For example, you can have a 6" and 18" lane within a 24" frame.) Quick ship in less than 2 weeks. Literature and pricing are available upon request or by visiting our website at www.4smartmove.com.
