Innovative Single-Box Solution Supports Stand-Alone Smaller Site Management and Scaled, Distributed Physical Security Systems
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- S2 Security Corporation (S2), the leader in IP-based integrated physical security systems, today announced the availability of S2 NetBox VR Quatro, the newest addition to the company's VR Series of converged video management systems (VMS) and security management systems (SMS). Quatro can be deployed as a stand-alone system for smaller sites, and can be integrated with the S2 Global product for scaled, distributed physical security systems.
S2 NetBox VR Quatro is a single-box solution that couples the high-performance, tightly integrated S2 NetVR VMS with the industry-leading S2 NetBox enterprise SMS and a four-slot network node. With the Quatro system, access control, event monitoring and video surveillance are managed through a web browser via an easy-to-learn user interface, providing users with extensive control over their video and physical security.

The Quatro base offering is licensed for four IP cameras and four portals with expansion options that support sites with up to eight recorded cameras and eight full access control points, all in a single wall mount enclosure. Because Quatro is an IP network appliance, power, a network drop and a web browser are all the system requires.
