Model V155 VXI slot-0 controller includes dual Ethernet controllers that support 10BaseT, 100BaseTX, and 1000BaseT interfaces enabling direct LAN access, up to 2 GB bootable flash on secondary IDE, up to 1.5 GB PC1600 DDR SDRAM, and 1 PMC expansion site. Single-width C-size module supports VXI Plug & Play Virtual Instruments Systems Architecture Library allowing integration into existing systems. Clocking options of 1.1, 1.6, and 1.8 GHz are available.

Lockport (Illinois), USA (October 30, 2006) - KineticSystems, an industry leader in high-performance data acquisition products and services, is pleased to announce its new VXI slot-0 controller featuring a high performance Pentium® M embedded processor. The V155 joins the family of high-performance slot-0 controllers already offered by KineticSystems.
The V155 is a single-width C-size module with 1.1 GHz, 1.6 GHz, and 1.8 GHz clocking options that combines the performance of a Pentium M-based processor with the functionality of a VXI Slot-0 controller.
The V155 features dual Ethernet controllers that support 10BaseT, 100BaseTX and 1000BaseT interfaces, up to 2 GBytes of bootable flash on a secondary IDE, up to 1.5 GByte of PC1600 DDR SDRAM, and one PMC expansion site for user expandability for FDDI, compactFlash, GPIB, Fibre Channel, FPDP, etc.
The V155 also supports the VXI Plug&Play Virtual Instruments Systems Architecture (VISA) Library with included Resource Manager (Resman). The VISA industry standard I/O control library allows modules to be controlled via several interfaces with the same I/O function calls.
The V155 slot-0 controller takes advantage of the latest Pentium M-based processors to provide unparalleled performance. Industry standard VISA support allows the V155 to be easily integrated into existing systems, while the dual Ethernet ports enable the V155 direct LAN access for quick and easy connectivity with new LXI-based systems.
The V155 is ideal for high-performance data acquisition and control for applications such as aerospace and aircraft testing, and high-performance ATE.
