Randolph, NJ, October 22, 2005...Announced today by Tidal Engineering, a leader in the design and development of embedded hardware and software for test and measurement and data acquisition applications, are enhancements to the Synergy(TM) Manager multi-chamber/multi-manufacturer controller software. This new version supports an expanded array of environmental chamber controllers, and provides deviation alarms. The Synergy Manager is unique software that enables engineers and technicians to remotely monitor and control conditions in multiple, and diverse environmental test chambers, in any combination, from a single Microsoft(R) Windows-based PC. Most notably, the software conceptually resembles Java's(TM) "write once, run everywhere" functionality as it lets engineers graphically create and edit thermal/humidity profiles on a PC, and send them to any supported environmental test chambers' controller. Further, the software allows operators to customize an e-mail, pager, and fax alarm system. Synergy Manager software now supports 11 of the most widely used environmental chamber controllers including the Watlow Electronic Manufacturing Company's 924/F4, Yokogawa 550, BlueM, and Tidal's Synergy controller.
Engineered specifically to provide OEMs, contract manufacturer's and test labs with central management and data storage for multi-chamber/multi-manufacturer sites via GPIB-IEEE 488, RS-232, RS-485 and Ethernet TCP/IP communication protocols, the software increases the overall efficiency and precision of the testing process in a broad range of industries and systems where controlled environments are essential for testing, screening, and calibrating critical systems and components. The feature-rich, intuitive package offers an eight-data tab control window corresponding to each test chamber.
