They are designed to Class 2 Not-Inherently Limited specifications and incorporate integral 3AG fuse holder as well as .25 x .032 QC tab connections. In addition to UL Recognized Class 130 (B) insulation, standard models offer primary input voltages at 50/60 Hz, with output of 24 V and 50 VA.

Multi-Tap Class 2 Control Transformers Are Ideal for Welders, Battery Chargers, Overhead Cranes, Motor Controls and More


Cincinnati, OH - Foster Transformer introduces a new line of Class 2 Control Transformers with multi-tap primary windings for use in industrial and commercial applications. Designed to Class 2 Not-Inherently Limited specifications, these unique transformers are precision layer wound for longer service life. They feature an integral 3AG fuse holder and convenient .25 x .032 QC tab connections for fast and easy installation. Foster Multi-Tapped Control Transformers are ideal for use in welders, battery chargers, overhead cranes, HVAC equipment, door openers, industrial and motor controls, or anywhere that a multi-tapped Class 2 Control Transformer is advantageous. Standard models are available with a wide range of primary input voltages at 50/60 Hz, with standard output of 24V and 50 VA. Each size/model includes UL Recognized Class 130 (B) insulation. IEC, EN and CE compliant designs are available. Alternate versions can be configured to meet specific customer requirements.
