HAZControl(TM) Technology is built upon Thermatool's Variable Frequency Current Fed Invertors (CFI). True Variable Frequency, often misunderstood in the industry, is a feature that allows controlled real-time adjustment of output frequency. Because frequency is dependent on many process parameters, it is possible to change the frequency of a welder when dramatic mechanical adjustments are made to the equipment. Mechanical manipulations like new coils and altered capacitor configurations will result in changed frequency, but for other welders these changes can occur without control.
