GX WebManager 9.4 Available


New E-Commerce and WebTV Functionalities

NIJMEGEN, the Netherlands, April 25 / / - GX, a leading vendor of Enterprise Web Content Management has released version 9.4 of its GX WebManager platform.

Companies that want to exploit the enormous potential of the Web need to adapt and react quickly to upcoming internet trends and hypes. As a result GX brings out new releases of the GX WebManager platform which introduces new and innovative features every quarter.

GX WebManager 9.4 offers a number of innovations and new functionalities:

- E-shop and transaction support: This new module allows users to set up their own Web shop and order processing, making use of powerful existing GX WebManager capabilities such as Workflow & Authorization, Personalization and Transactions & Micro Applications;

- Jboss certification: GX WebManager can now be deployed on JBoss with full documentation, configuration and support available;

- WebTV bundles: support for new video players and conversion tools to upload, convert, manage and publish video content.

- WCB extensibility: existing WebManager Component Bundles can now be customized and extended without requiring or changing the original code;

- Clustering: Additional configuration possibilities, deployment options and algorithms are now available for deploying WebManager Component Bundles in a clustered environment.

At the same time, add-on components are being developed independently of the GX WebManager roadmap by GX, its partners, customers and individual developers. More than 150 WebManager Component Bundles have already been registered at WCMExchange.com.
