FatWire Software Announces Spark 6 pCM for Sun Java™ System Portal Server

Mineola, NY — June 4, 2004 — FatWire Software, the leading provider of strategic enterprise content management (ECM) solutions, announced today that it has expanded its integration with the Sun Java™ System Portal Server through its latest release of Spark 6 pCM (portal Content Management) for Sun. FatWire has also deepened its integration with Sun through its Reference Architecture for enterprise solutions that now utilizes FatWire Content Server 5.5 applications.

Spark 6 pCM, at the low cost of $25,000 per server, is now available on the Content Server technology and is specifically designed to accentuate and extend the strengths of the SUN Java System Portal Server. FatWire’s Spark 6 uses the Sun Java System Identity Server user and group management for single sign-on authentication and authorization and supports the latest standards including and JSR 168. Spark can be installed in a matter of hours and features easy to use content management and document management interfaces, and installs with four pre-built delivery portlets for job postings, corporate communications, documents and advertisements.
