Openwave Announces Next Generation Mobile Content Products and Services
BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 14 / -- Openwave Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:OPWV), the leading independent provider of open software products and services for the communications and media industry, today announced the launch of Openwave(R) Mobile Edge, a rich content delivery framework for the next generation of mobile data services. Openwave Mobile Edge brings together client and server technologies to increase portal value and enable revenue-generating off-net content as part of a customized mobile experience. The Mobile Edge suite of products and services builds on Openwave's unparalleled mobile access gateway expertise and market leadership and include Openwave(R) Mobile Edge Open Web, Openwave(R) Mobile Edge Accelerator and Openwave(R) Mobile Edge Security Suite.
