CAPS Launches CAPS-TRAC(TM) 3.0 with Enhanced Container Tracking Capabilities for Customers

Livonia, MI - Container and Pooling Solutions (CAPS) (www.usecaps.com), announces the latest release of its proprietary container tracking solution, CAPS-TRAC(TM) 3.0. For more than 10 years, CAPS has been providing asset tracking in addition to returnable container rental, allowing customers to improve fleet visibility, reduce container loss and assign accountability for supply chain loss and damage. While serving the automotive, general manufacturing, food, beverage, cosmetic and non-hazardous chemical markets, the company has seen an increasing demand for flexible, easy to use asset tracking solutions.

Since the initial development of CAPS-TRAC(TM) in 1998, the company has been consistently enhancing its container tracking software with the latest and most effective technology.

"Our goal with this newest release of CAPS-TRAC(TM) is to provide a comprehensive, reliable, user-friendly container tracking and container management solution, with increased functionality that mirrors the look and feel of the cutting edge websites customers have come to expect," explains Keith Schall, CAPS' Director of Business Systems and Technology. "CAPS-TRAC(TM) 3.0 also provides an answer to the increasing customer requests for an application to integrate seamlessly with their existing B2B systems, providing innovative container tracking capabilities and extensive reporting with an intuitive user interface."

CAPS-TRAC(TM) 3.0 boasts new and improved filtering capabilities and easier navigation, with the option for customers to track containers and additional assets using either CAPS-iTRAC (individual tracking model) or CAPS-aTRAC (aggregate tracking model). As with previous versions of CAPS-TRAC(TM), customers use bi-lingual scanners to transmit data immediately to CAPS. The online solution is accessible from any internet connected computer, with data backed up in a secure offsite location to ensure stability. CAPS-TRAC(TM) 3.0 makes it easier than ever before for businesses to keep track of their reusable shipping containers.

"Easily locating assets is critical to the success of our customers' supply chain optimization efforts," said Bob Wiedmaier, CAPS' CEO. "CAPS-TRAC(TM) 3.0 delivers accurate asset tracking throughout the supply chain, providing bill back accountability for damages and allowing customers to significantly minimize loss, in turn reducing the capital required to purchase new assets. Additionally, with new audit standards and Sarbanes Oxley requirements, our customers are finding that container tracking is no longer a luxury but a necessity."

CAPS-TRAC(TM) 3.0 is available to CAPS' container rental customers as well as companies who require a management system to track their own assets. Companies experiencing asset damage and loss are ideal candidates for CAPS-TRAC(TM) 3.0.

For over a decade, CAPS has been a trusted name in container management solutions. To learn more about CAPS-TRAC(TM), visit www.UseCAPS.com.
