Impact Plastics Globe Casters and Accessories of Elgin, IL Introduces the Double Impact Chevron Lid at Waste EXPO 2009

ELGIN, IL. JUNE 9, 2009: Impact Plastics - Globe Casters and Accessories, a manufacturer of waste container lids and supplier of container parts and accessories, is introducing their new DOUBLE IMPACT CHEVRON Container lid with the Chevron Lid design at the base of the lid. The DOUBLE IMPACT CHEVRON LID was unveiled at the Waste Expo Show 2009, in Las Vegas. This new, alternative rib pattern is a solid surface that is able to work in tangent with lock bars, chains and other locking devices. The Chevron Rib pattern, in conjunction with the water channel around the perimeter of the lid also gives extra rigidity to the front edge of the lid, which makes lifting the lid up at the corners to illegally dump virtually impossible. This extra thickness also keeps the lid down during high winds. With the DOUBLE IMPACT, Impact Plastics has fused a second layer of plastic to the back 3" of hinge line, doubling the thickness of the most durable hinge line on the market. This reinforced hinge line virtually eliminates ovalizing and splitting of the hinge line holes, increases the containers "up-time" in the field. Additionally, a series of lid rod guides are incorporated into the hinge line, which enables the lid rod to slide effortlessly into place. Impact's vacuum forming manufacturing process produces one piece container lids, without any seams on the hinge line or other stress points of the lid. Impact Plastics blends UVI inhibitors into their lids, which protects the lid from the effects of both extreme hot and cold climates. All Impact container lids come with a 7 year warranty. Impact Plastics is an approved supplier to Advance Disposal, Casella, IESI, Republic Waste Services, Veolia Environmental Services, Waste Management, Waste Connections, WCA, WSI, and WastePro. They also supply many independent haulers and container manufacturers, both in the United States, and Internationally. For more information call toll free 877-454-3748 or visit www.impactlids.com.
