PrioSoft Releases Priority One Plus Contractor’s Office with Job Estimating

PrioSoft’s Construction Management software now has considerably expanded estimating capabilities in a newly modularized package for construction contractors, handyman organizations, residential remodelers of all sizes.

For the handyman or small job contractor, a database is created for tasks used often, with their estimated time and dollar amounts. This will cut the time it will take to estimate in the future and to teach others to estimate for you.

For the contractor bidding on complex jobs, the new estimating module affords creation of an item list and assemblies. Complex projects can be built of many items and sub-assemblies. Integral to the new upgrade is the ability to assign phases to all the parts of the project, and the sequencing of individual items within each assembly, so those dependencies can be carried through to the Job Schedule. The estimate’s line items also are assigned Job Costing categories that are carried through the system into the integrated Accounting and Job Costing capability. These pieces of information will also be part of the data that is exported to other interfaced Job Scheduling and Account packages.

Priority One Plus Contractor’s Office estimating capability, initially designed for small jobs, is now fully able to handle any job.

PrioSoft’s interface strategy is also enhanced by these new capabilities. Workflow will remain the same whether the internal capability or the interfaced system is used. Most of the software packages with which Priority One Plus interfaces are the most sophisticated for their specialty, so flow implemented with this new release makes growth even easier.

PrioSoft has been providing small business management software since 1986 and has been addressing the needs of the construction industry since 1999. We are proud of the products and the complete support we supply our customers.
