Right Angle PCI Express X1 and X4 connectors are available in .657 in. and .230 in. stack heights, respectively, and each offers 3 tail length options. Allowing horizontal (parallel) PCIe card mounting, connectors are compatible with vertical mount connectors in PCB design. Right angle offers ability to solve space problems in applications where card edge connectors are needed and where low clearance above PCB prohibits use of vertical configurations.

Meritec Announces the Expansion of their Right Angle PCI Express Connector Product Family
Painesville, Ohio USA, May 25, 2007 - Meritec announces the addition of the Right Angle PCI Express X1 and X4 connectors to compliment their existing right angle X8 and X16 versions available in stock. Samples of the X1 connector offered in a .657" stack height with 3 tail length options, and the X4 connector offered in a .230" stack height with 3 tail lengths options will be available beginning June 1, 2007. Full production shipments for these two offerings will begin July 1, 2007. The balance of theX1 and X4 connectors in sizes .230", .440" and .657" with 3 tail length options will be available for full production shipments by the middle of 3rd quarter. All the Meritec Right Angle PCI Express connectors are RoHS compliant and manufactured in the U.S.A.
