November 25, 2002 - ETP Electrical Metallic Tubing steel set-screw connectors and couplings come in 4 styles with trade sizes from 1/2 to 4 in. Type 4000 set-screw connectors and Type 5000 set-screw couplings have heavy steel walls, protective zinc plating, and pre-set/pre-staked set-screws. Type 6000 compression couplings have steel body and nut with zinc plating. Type 7000 EMT Steel Compression Connectors are offered with insulated throat. All connectors include NPS male hub thread.

SKOKIE, IL, November 12, 2002 -- O-Z/Gedney’s ETP Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) steel set-screw connectors and couplings help electrical contractors ground and secure lengths of conduit together and to boxes and enclosures -- faster, more efficiently and at less cost than other brands.

O-Z/Gedney’s ETP line of steel connectors and couplings come in four styles with trade sizes ranging from 1/2-inch to 4 inches. The easy-to-install fittings are UL/CSA Listed to ensure the utmost performance and safety.

• Type 4000 EMT Steel Set-Screw Connectors feature heavy steel walls with a protective zinc plating along with pre-set/pre-staked set-screws, an NPS male hub thread, and an optional insulated throat. The connectors are "Concrete-Tight" when taped by the contractor.

• Type 5000 EMT Steel Set-Screw Couplings have heavy steel walls with zinc plating. They feature pre-set/pre-staked set-screws and are "Concrete-Tight" when taped by a contractor.

• Type 6000 EMT Steel Compression Couplings are UL/CSA Listed "Concrete-Tight" without taping, plus feature a rugged steel body and nut with zinc plating.

• Type 7000 EMT Steel Compression Connectors have an NPS male hub thread and are available with an insulated throat. They are UL/CSA Listed "Concrete-Tight"
