New Light/Moisture Cure Conformal Coating from DYMAX Meets MIL-I-46058C Requirements

DYMAX Corporation, the leader in light-curing technology for electronic materials, announces that conformal coating Dual-Cure(TM) 9481 has met the requirements of MIL-I-46058C and IPC-CC-830B. Dual-Cure 9481 is solvent free and is specifically formulated for rapid cure when exposed to UV and/or visible light. Its ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower assembly costs. Ambient moisture will cure areas shaded from light over time. The material has low surface energy to ensure wetting on circuitry, processing materials and components. Viscosity is optimized for application of .001 - .003" coating thickness by industry standard spray systems. Dual-Cure 9481 fluoresces blue when exposed to black light for rapid quality control inspection of coated areas.

DYMAX Corporation is a leading technology-based company specializing in the formulation, manufacture and service of advanced assembly adhesives, coatings, epoxies, masking resins, and light curing systems.
