Spirax Sarco Introduces the PTF4 PivotrolŪ Pump
Two pumps in one - Now covering a complete motive pressure range
Blythewood, SC - Spirax Sarco has introduced the Pivotrol PTF4, a high - capacity pressure powered condensate pump which covers a wider motive pressure range. There are no longer two versions of the PTF4 (PTF4L and PTF4H). This new version can be operated by steam, air or other pressurized gases and covers a complete pressure range of up to 200 psig.
The Pivotrol PTF4 pump is designed as a solution to reduce excessive maintenance and energy consumption common with high-capacity condensate pumps used in large commercial and industrial facilities. The PTF4, incorporates dual Pivotrol pumping mechanisms with PowerPivotŪ technology and is backed by a three million cycles or three year warranty, with a Pivotrol Condensate Pump lifetime spring warranty. A five million cycles or five year extended warranty is available as an option. The integral electronic cycle counters monitor the pump's performance and confirm warranty coverage.
Patented vent assist valves release pressure in the pump body during the exhaust stroke, for faster filling and overall cycling, leading to higher capacity. Servicing is easier and reliability is markedly improved. As a result of innovative technology backed by four patents and patent pending long life check valves, the PTF4 offers higher performance than conventional technology.
