Parker Hannifin Introduces a Drain Designed to Save Money on Compressed Air

Oxford, MI, April 24, 2007 - Losing costly compressed air from your system by trying to drain condensate can now be eliminated.

Parker Hannifin's Finite Filter Operation introduced a line of zero air loss condensate drains. They are designed so that the drain will only open when liquid is present and will not allow any compressed air to vent from the system.

This technology is different from a manual drain that requires constant attention or a timed drain valve, which will only open on a timed interval, regardless of the amount of liquid present.

"This new product is the most cost effective of all of the condensate removal methods," says Dustin Allison, Finite Product Manager. "In a short amount of time, the drain will pay for itself with the money you save on lost compressed air."

The drains can be used to remove condensate from many different areas of a compressed air system, including aftercoolers, receiver tanks, filters and air dryers.

For additional information on this product, call Finite toll-free at 1-800-521-4357. The drains are featured in Finite's Bulletin 1300-160/USA.

Finite Filter, an operation of the Filtration and Separation Division, designs and manufacturers a wide variety of filters and accessories for compressed air and gas systems worldwide.

With annual sales exceeding $9 billion, Parker Hannifin is the world's leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision-engineered solutions for a wide variety of commercial, mobile, industrial and aerospace markets.
