Fanless, Cost-effective Embedded System with Dual Display Capability and Industrial Grade Components - eBOX748-820-FL from AXIOMTEK
October 2, 2008- AXIOMTEK's eBOX748-820-FL, a fanless and compact embedded computer, is powered by a low voltage Intel® Celeron® M / Pentium® M processor up to 1.0GHz to minimize thermal emissions. Equipped with the Intel® 915GME/910GMLE and ICH6M chipsets, the eBOX748-820-FL supports optional dual displays (VGA & DVI interfaces), and comes with four USB 2.0 ports, two COM ports and one RJ-45 connector. The integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900 architecture provides enhanced graphics and 3D performance. The eBOX748-820-FL is also equipped with shock/vibration resistance and an extended range of temperature endurance, making it an application-ready embedded computer targeted at industrial automation, transportation, gaming and digital signage application (DSA).
The eBOX748-820-FL supports one 2.5" Serial ATA hard drive and one DDR2 SODIMM socket up to 1GB memory. The wireless function can be supplied through a Mini PCI wireless LAN module. Moreover, the eBOX748-820-FL is an all-in-one and cost-effective embedded computer featuring rich I/O connections, including four high speed USB 2.0 ports, two COM ports, one fast Ethernet port, VGA, DVI (optional), one PS/2 connector, LPT, audio, CompactFlash(TM) and DC power input (optional). The eBOX748-820-FL also supports various embedded operating systems including Windows® CE, Windows® XP Embedded (XPE), and Linux.
Protected by an extremely rugged aluminum housing in the size of 205 x 250 x 56 mm (8.07" x 8.86" x 2.2"), the eBOX748-820-FL can be used in space-limited environments. Its fanless design and unique thermal solution support the eBOX748-820-FL to operate noiseless and reliably in critical environments at temperature from -10°C to 50°C. Additionally, this durable embedded computer offers excellent shock/vibration resistance up to 2Grms (with CompactFlash(TM)). For flexible installation, the durable embedded box computer can be standalone, wall-mounted, and DIN-rail mounted.
