Vortex Piston Compressors from Rietschle Thomas Now Offered with AC & DC Voltages
The Vortex series of oil-less piston compressors from Rietschle Thomas is now available with AC and DC voltages. The units' all-aluminum design provides extended, service-free life as well as 15 percent lighter weight than conventional units. The Vortex series has high capacity, permanently lubricated seal bearings plus high volumetric efficiency. They also feature a 90° V-design that results in low vibration and a high efficiency rating. The series is ideal for harsh duty applications or any application where AC voltage cannot be used.
The Vortex series is available in 1 1/2 and 2 HP designs and provides a maximum continuous pressure to 125 psi, maximum intermittent pressure to 145 psi and maximum free flow of 12.93 CFM. Models are available in single-phase capacity start or three-phase design.
