Finite® Filter Releases Dual-Stage Breathing Air Filter

OXFORD, Michigan, March 11, 2004—Parker Hannifin Corporation’s Filtration and Separation Division introduces the BA-Series, dual-stage compressed air filters.

BA-Series filters are designed as point-of-use breathing air filters. They are also great for aircraft cabin air, food processing/packaging and are used as a prefilter for critical needs such as zero air generators, membrane filters and instrument air dryers.

Each housing has two elements inside, a coalescer and an adsorber. The compressed air is directed first through the coalescer removing more than 99.97% of the oil, water and solid contaminant. The oil-free air is then redirected upwards to the inside of the adsorber element where the carbon element collects hydrocarbon vapors.

These breathing air purifiers are available in ¾ā€¯ and 1” NPT connection sizes. Maximum pressure is 500 PSIG and the maximum temperature is 175° F. Flows go up to 75 SCFM and a 1/8” manual drain port comes standard on this product.

Please see Finite’s Bulletin 1300-905/USA for more information.
