July 23, 2003 - Model 030-0550 Heavy Duty Pivoting Catch Compartment Latch has high-strength laminated hook and die-cast zinc paddle that provides resistance to vibration and wear. Pivoting design allows relative movement between door and frame when vehicle frame flexes. Reverse paddle design is suited for top hinged doors and provides resistance to insertion of foreign objects. Available in locking and non-locking versions, latch offers padlock for increased security.

030-0550 Heavy Duty Pivoting Catch Compartment Latch

New Hampton, IA - July 2, 2003 - The NEW 030-0550 Heavy Duty Pivoting Catch Compartment Latch was specifically designed for storage and compartment doors for off-road vehicles including agricultural and construction equipment and industrial enclosures. It has a high strength laminated hook and a heavy duty die-cast zinc paddle that provides a higher level of resistance to vibration and wear. Other product details include:

• Pivoting catch design allows relative movement between the door and frame when the vehicle frame flexes.

• Reverse paddle design of the latch is suited for top hinged doors and provides resistance to insertion of foreign objects.

• Supplied in a zinc plate, yellow chromate finish, the product can be easily painted over to match body colors.

• Available in locking and non-locking versions, it offers the use of a padlock for increased security. The lock cylinder can be installed after the latch has been assembled into the door and painted for convenience.

• Latch is easy to install with (4) 1/4" or 6mm pop-rivets or screws (sold separately).
