Based on Intel® 3100 chipset with 667 MHz FSB, Model CPB4712 includes low or ultra low voltage, dual-core Intel® Xeon® processors at speeds ranging from 1.67-2.16 GHz with 2 Mb L2 cache. System memory of up to 4 GB is supported via 2 PC-2700 SO-DIMMs. Onboard are dual 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports routed according to PICMG 2.16, one 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port available at front panel, one PMC/XMC site (64-bit/133 MHz and x4 PCIe), high speed USB, and serial port.

Diversified Technology, Inc. Introduces Dual-Core CompactPCI Blade
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 3 /- Embedded Systems Conference -- Diversified Technology, Inc. announces the introduction of the high performance, low power CompactPCI Blade based on the Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® Processors. CompactPCI is a proven architecture with successful applications ranging from VoIP and Media Gateways to Industrial Networks and Data Control Centers. The CPB4712 is the natural extension of DTI's CompactPCI line, enabling organizations to gain significant performance enhancements within their CompactPCI deployments.
