Four New Models and the Bob-Tach Mounting System Option Update Bobcat Compact Tractor Line

(WEST FARGO, N.D. - August 2008) Bobcat Company, a leader in compact equipment for the past 50 years, expands the new line of compact tractors with the introduction of four new models. In addition to releasing these new tractors, Bobcat also announces that the Bob-Tach(TM) quick attachment mounting system is now available as an option on the front-end loader of all Bobcat® compact tractors.

The four new models are the CT335, CT440, CT445 and CT450. These four tractors are available in three different packages. The Economy Package has a three-point implement hitch with power take off (PTO). The Standard Package includes the three-point hitch, PTO and a loader joystick and control valve. The Standard Package with Cab has all of the features of the Standard Package with an enclosed cab.

Bobcat compact tractors are designed to help farmers, ranchers, commercial landscapers, groundskeepers, homeowners with acreage and other users tackle a variety of tasks. The four new models have an independent PTO that can be engaged with the flip of a switch while the tractor is in motion. This feature allows an operator to engage the PTO on a three-point implement only in areas where it is needed. The four new Bobcat models have a heavier and larger chassis and higher horsepower for customers who need more power but do not need a machine larger than a compact tractor.

Cab models have standard heat and air conditioning and are radio-ready for the comfort of operators who will be working long periods in the tractor. The cab also has curved glass to reduce glare and provide good visibility. There is also a glass window on the bottom rear of the cab so the operator can see the three-point hitch area for easier implement hookup. Compact tractors are often parked next to buildings, fences, trees or other obstructions. Bobcat cab models have doors on both sides of the tractor for operator access when the machine is parked next to these obstructions.

Rear implements available for use on Bobcat compact tractors include an angle blade, auger, backhoe, box blade, finish mower, rotary cutter, snowblower, soil cultivator, tiller and tine rake. The four new Bobcat compact tractors have a remote three-point hitch adjustment lever on the back of the machine. This lever allows the operator to raise and lower the three-point hitch links from the rear of the tractor for easier hookup of implements.

In addition to smoother hook-up of implements on the rear of the tractor, operators will be able to save time hooking up attachments to the front-end loader with Bob-Tach quick attachment mounting system. This system is now available on the front-end loader of all nine Bobcat compact tractor models. The Bob-Tach system allows operators who need to use multiple front-end attachments to quickly and effortlessly change attachments for maximum productivity. This feature also enables the tractor to perform multiple functions with the front-end loader. Currently, a bucket and pallet forks are available for use on the front-end loader, with additional attachments planned for the future.

The Bobcat compact tractors feature four-wheel drive for traveling over and working in rough terrain, and also come with hydrostatic transmissions for easy operation.

In line with the Bobcat reputation for offering customers durable and reliable equipment, the compact tractors have sleek hoods and side panels made of steel. Their design provides superior visibility to the front of the tractors and easy access to key maintenance points. Standard comfort and safety features include a spark arrestor muffler, horn, brake lights, operator's handbook, and standard Bobcat suspension seat with a fully retractable seat belt. The rollover protective structure (ROPS) can be folded down to make transportation and storage of the tractor more convenient.

The expanded family of tractors includes the following:
