Compact Servo Drives enable decentralized machine concepts.

Press Release Summary:

Covering 120-440 W range, 930K fluxxtorque series accommodates various options for controlling actuators and sensors via integrated digital and analog I/Os. In addition to CAN and PROFIBUS fieldbus protocols, mechatronic units can be integrated into Ethercat networks. Units can be mounted outside control cabinet, directly at process. Other features include support for feedback using single- and multi-turn absolute value encoders as well as integrated positioning control.

930K fluxxtorque: Lenze introduces a new generation

Hanover/Hamelin --- Increased efficiency, higher level of functionality, more flexible communication, a greater number of options: these are the expansions that Lenze has incorporated into the second generation of the 930K fluxxtorque servo drives. The compact servo drive solution can be mounted outside the control cabinet, directly at the process, thereby creating the foundation for efficient, decentralised machine concepts.

The 930K fluxxtorque servo drives cover a power range from 120 to 440 W. The units are available for both extra-low and low voltage. They operate precisely, are quick to install and easy to clean. In the course of further development, Lenze has also redesigned the synchronous servo motors used. The result of this: around 20 percent lower volume at the same power with increased efficiency.

In terms of functionality, the series is notable for various options for controlling actuators and sensors via the integrated digital and analog I/Os. The new 930K fluxxtorque servo drive is more communicative. Moreover, in addition to the CAN and PROFIBUS fieldbus protocols that were previously available, the mechatronic units can now also be integrated into Ethercat networks.

Feedback using single-turn and multi-turn absolute value encoders is another new feature. Combined with the integrated positioning control with a path program for up to 64 position points, thereby makes the 930K fluxxtorque servo drive a small, precise positioning drive. It can also assume tasks in the machine network autonomously - without expensive control running in the background. The simplicity resulting from this enables the series to be quickly and conveniently commissioned with free of charge trilingual parameter setting software - supported by suitable system cables with fast connection technology (SpeedTec) from Lenze.
