February 19, 2013 - With overall height of 100 mm and width of 240 mm, DT240 delivers repeatability of ±0.0001°, max speed of 480 rpm, and continuous torque of 8 Nm. Precision rotary stage, manufactured from low-distortion aluminum alloy (black anodized), is also equipped with angular encoder with resolution of 0.0001° and contactless hall sensor for reference switch. Suitable applications include laser machining, precision wafer inspection, photonics, and fiber optics.

Compact Rotary Stage with Torque Motor Drive


BURLINGTON, MA--Steinmeyer, Inc. today announced a new addition to its line of precision rotary stages. The DT240 stage is driven by a torque motor for high speed motion. With an overall height of 100 mm and width of 240 mm this stage is ideal for applications requiring space saving solutions. The DT240 has a repeatability of +/-0.0001 degrees, a max speed of 480 rpm and a continuous torque of 8 Nm making it ideal for applications such as

• Laser Machining
• Precision Wafer Inspection
• Photonics.
• Fiber Optics

The stage is also equipped with an angular encoder with resolution of 0.0001degrees, a contactless hall sensor for a reference switch and and is manufactured from a low distortion aluminum alloy which is black anodized
