NEW Flojet LF Plus Compact Pumps Deliver a Streamlined Body and Quick Clean Capability Backed by Proven Diaphragm Technology

Backed by 35 years of excellence, Flojet pumps are the reliable choice

IRVINE, CA - Flojet® (www.xylemflowcontrol.com/flojet/), a Xylem brand and leading manufacturer of small motor driven and air-operated pumps for beverage and industrial applications, announces the new Flojet LF Plus series of low flow industrial motor driven diaphragm pumps. The line of compact pumps features a slick, new design that reduces diaphragm cleaning time by up to 40 percent and weighs just 20 ounces.

Flojet LF Plus pumps are versatile for multiple applications extending throughout the industrial, agricultural, automotive, and food processing industries. With proven reciprocating diaphragm technology, the pumps perform optimally in harsh environments from agricultural misting and tree top boom spraying, to chemical wash down for aircraft and automotive uses, in addition to many applications for filtration, cooling, liquid dispensing, food processing, pressure boosting, and automotive diesel fluid transfer.

"Built to last and weighing in at just 20 ounces, customers can benefit from the many features the Flojet LF Plus pumps provide to save time and reduce cost, particularly those in niche applications where space is tight," said Luis Gonzalez, product manager at Xylem Inc., the maker of the Flojet LF Plus.

These features include quick disconnect ports, flexible mounting feet, an inline fuse, and a manual on/off switch. Flojet LF Plus' optional industry leading switch technology is proven with over 1 million cycles to ensure consistent operation. The Flojet LF Plus pump's 360° quick connect swivel ports allow for complete freedom of port orientation, a cost-effective feature that minimizes the need for additional components and is important for fast cleaning and maintenance.

The new Flojet LF Plus pumps attain operating pressures of up to 40 psi (2.75 bar), have self-priming capabilities up to 6 feet (1.8m), and dependable run dry capabilities. The built-in thermal protector helps to prevent damage from overheating. Other built-in configurations of the Flojet LF Plus pump include a pressure switch shut-off, in addition to a bypass option that reduces cycling, offering ideal pressures of 0.2 to 0.3 GPM for backpack spraying. The Flojet LF Plus pumps offer a 1.0 GPM (3.8 LPM) flow rate.

The new streamlined Flojet LF Plus pumps are made from Geolast® or Santoprene® diaphragm and EPDM or Viton® check valves, resulting in true compatibility with most harsh and abrasive chemicals. The one-piece welded pressure switch design, with epoxy sealed terminals, keeps reliability in and the elements out, to provide years of dependable service.

"The new Flojet LF Plus provides optimum operation and an extended lifecycle to deliver reliable service day in and day out, just like the over seven million Flojet pumps in service today," said Mr. Gonzalez.

The Flojet LF Plus pumps are offered now in both 12 and 24-volt models, with a 115-volt model coming soon. Contact your local retailer or dealer for more information, or visit http://www.xylemflowcontrol.com/flojet.
