IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 4 -- ATEN Technology, Inc., an innovator of high-quality KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) and remote connectivity solutions to manage servers and other network devices, today announced a new compact LCD KVM console that addresses the ever-expanding data center issues faced by network administrators. The new CL-1200 Slideaway(TM) is an LCD KVM console that works seamlessly with existing ATEN KVM installations and features an integrated 15" or 17" high-resolution LCD monitor. This new console also includes a full keyboard, touchpad and a 1U, rack-mountable housing. The unit's dual-console functionality enables simultaneous server control from a second PS/2 console that allows more administrators to manage any server on the KVM installation. In addition, the CL-1200 is IP-upgradeable by attaching an ATEN KVM remote access device.
The new CL-1200 Slideaway series integrates the same LCD monitors used in the recently released CL-1208 and CL-1216 Slideaway LCD KVM solutions that include built-in 8- and 16-port KVM capabilities. The CL-1208 and CL-1216 Slideaway versions were announced by ATEN's parent, ATEN International, and are available through the company's OEM partners in the U.S.
