Integrating G-series Fusion APU with two CPU and 80 GPU cores, SI-18 Signature Book supports applications using DirectX 11, Direct Compute 11, Open CL 1.2, and Open GL 4.0. Product includes UVD3 hardware video decoder which handles full HD playback of MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264, WMV9, and VC-1 video streams. Measuring 4.9 x 4.9 x 1.3 in., it has metal chassis with mounting brackets; Hybrid-DVI connector that supports DVI, HDMI, and VGA displays; 2 GB DDR3 memory; 160 GB hard drive; and GbE.

World's Smallest x86 Digital Signage Player SI-18 Introduced by IBASE with G-series Fusion APU
Taipei, Taiwan - IBASE Technology (TASDAQ: 8050), a world-leading manufacturer of single board computers and embedded systems is introducing the SI-18 Signature Book - an ultra-compact digital signage player powered by G-series Fusion APU and Radeon HD6310 graphics.
The G-series Accelerated Processing Unit (APU), packs two (2) CPU and eighty (80) GPU cores on a single piece of silicon. It is capable of supporting applications utilizing the advanced features of DirectX 11, Direct Compute 11, Open CL 1.2 and Open GL 4.0. Also included is UVD3 hardware video decoder which handles full HD playback of MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264, WMV9 and VC-1 video streams without utilizing CPU or GPU resources.
The SI-18 measures 4.9" x 4.9" x 1.3" and features an industrial grade all metal chassis with integrated mounting brackets. Near universal display compatibility is ensured by the Hybrid-DVI connector which interfaces with DVI, HDMI and VGA displays. SI-18 systems come standard with a G-series T56N processor, 2GB of DDR3 memory, 160GB of hard drive storage and gigabit Ethernet (WiFi & Bluetooth are optional). Maximum power consumption is an efficient 25 Watts.
