Cooper Wiring Devices Offers New Line of Commercial Switches

Peachtree City, GA, October 19, 2004 - A newly expanded line of electrical switches for commercial applications has been launched by Cooper Wiring Devices (CWD). The CS Series of Commercial Specification Grade Switches are high quality, moderately priced, safe and reliable performers with uniquely CWD-designed features.

Among these special features are a built-in wire stripper and wire looper, a wider mounting strap than in other products, stippled line and ground contacts and a color-coded amperage indicator - all features that add up to real on-the-job benefits, making for a faster, easier and more profitable job. A built-in wire stripper enables fast stripping without tools; the stippled line and ground contacts insure solid contact during installation and the amperage color-coding on the mounting strap gives quick positive identification. In addition, the wider mounting strap provides 40% more contact with wallboard, reducing "floating" installations.

Overall, the expanded line of CS Series switches have highly compact dimensions and shallow depth, making it most suitable for tight installations. All switches are UL 20 listed, NOM certified and meet WS-896 Federal Specifications.

For further information on the CS Series of Commercial Spec Grade Switches ask for CWD-9-CSTOGGLE-04 when calling 1-800-315-0779 or e-mailing cooperwiringdevices@mdfsystems.com.
