App Makes Check Acceptance Easier, More Reliable and Secure for Small Businesses
PASADENA, Calif. -- DoubleBeam, provider of various mobile retailing solutions, today announced the first e-Check app for local merchants built on the Leaf commerce platform. The app enables small and medium size businesses (SMBs) to quickly and easily accept checks from their customers and have the associated funds delivered into their merchant accounts as quickly as the next business day. Merchants using Leaf to run and grow their business can simply download the e-Check app to their LeafPresenter POS and then begin processing checks by snapping pictures of them with the tablet's built-in camera.

DoubleBeam's e-Check app is one of the first publicly-announced apps for the Leaf Appstore, the first app store dedicated to the needs of brick and mortar businesses. The recently announced Leaf Appstore enables third-party developers such as DoubleBeam to extend the core features built into the LeafPresenter POS tablet and LeafBusiness, the company's cloud-based management and analytics portal.
