New Color Lasers with Duplex Feature Allows Users to be Environmentally Friendly

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Dec. 2 -- Brother International Corporation, a leader in the home office, small office and corporate home office markets today introduced two new laser products: the HL-4040CDN Color Laser Printer ($399*, available December 2008) and the MFC-9450CDN Color Laser All-in-One, ($649*, available January 2009).

"Brother's new color laser options feature built-in automatic duplex printing which reduces paper use and enables users to be environmentally friendly," said Jeff Sandler, Brother Director of Marketing for Laser Products. "Duplex printing is an important feature for "greener" offices and Brother added this capability without any increase to the HL-4040CDN's everyday street price."

HL-4040CDN The new HL-4040CDN directly replaces the HL-4040CN, and delivers brilliant color laser printing for any office. Its features include:

Brother's line of color laser all-in-ones has been expanded to include the new MFC-9450CDN, which joins the MFC-9440CN and MFC-9840CDW. Sandler added that the MFC-9450CDN "features the same great performance, features and footprint as the award-winning MFC-9440CN all-in-one, but includes built-in automatic duplex printing for around $50 more."
