SOUTHFIELD, MI - November 7, 2006 - Schreiner Label Tech today announced the availability of their Color Laser Film (CLF) label, which provides effective protection for original components by offering reliable proof of authenticity in a customized marking solution that also offers a host of process benefits. This is particularly helpful since counterfeiting of original components in the automotive and mechanical engineering industries is increasingly common.
A specially developed transparent laminate makes the surface resistant to mechanical, chemical and climatic influences. In addition, security kiss-cuts ensure that the film self-destructs in an attempt to remove it from the substrate, thus allowing immediate detection of product tampering incidents.
Schreiner Color Laser Film offers a range of individual security measures: holograms or color shifting effects, in which the color appears to change according to the viewing angle, raise the level of counterfeiting protection even further.
