April 3, 2003 - TS300-0625 collet holder utilizes DA300 collet and offers 5/8 in. dia shank, length of 3.75 in., and chuck capacity of 1/64 to 1/4 in. Straight shank collet chucks are made from high grade heat-treated alloy steel and come with lock nut and inside backup screw. Tools are for use on manual or CNC chuckers, screw machines, and CNC lathes.

Machinists' Favorite Double Angle Collet Has New Holder

Henderson, NV - A new collet holder, utilizing the popular DA300 collet has been introduced by Craftsman Industries, Inc. a Nevada-based manufacturer of precision machine tool accessories. The tool holder is the latest edition to the company's innovative line of straight shank double angle "STUBBY" collet chucks and is on display at Craftsman Industries' website (www.craftsmanindustries.com). This and all other "STUBBY" collet chucks are ideal for use on chuckers (manual or CNC), screw machines, and CNC lathes. This new product, the TS300-0625, offers a 5/8" shank diameter, an overall length of 3.75" and a chuck capacity of 1/64" to 1/4".

"The DA300 collet is the most popular collet with our users, so we are pleased to offer a third holder for this collet," states John Hent, the company's president. Craftsman Industries' existing DA300 collet holders are the extension TE300-0500 (1/2" shank diameter, overall length 6.80") and the "STUBBY" TS300-0500 (1/2" shank diameter, overall length 3.60").

Craftsman's entire line of straight shank collet chucks are manufactured in the U.S.A. from high grade heat-treated alloy steel. All tool holders are equipped with a lock nut and an inside backup screw. All products can be viewed online at www.craftsmanindustries.com.
